Date: August 23, 2012 Co-operative loans have been getting by 8000 members of Adi dravidar and tribal agriculturalists. With the deposit amount of Rs. 250 and totally Rs. 20 lakh to be alloted by government to Adi dravidar and tribal members. Upto they got Rs. 5000 as agricultural loan. Now jayalalitha elobrated this to 40000 members of Adi dravidar and tribal from 8000 members. Date: August 23, 2012 Chief Minister of Tamilnadu J.Jayalalitha conducted a review meeting on the new power projects envisaged to avoid the power shortage prevailing in the state. In this meeting, Jayalalitha asked the level of completion of the Thermal power plants at vellore(500MW), Mettur(600MW) and North chennai(600MW). Jayalalitha urges the officials to finishes these projects as soon as possible. In this meeting, Finance minister of Tamilnadu O. Date: September 01, 2012 Infrastructures, houses, buildings, agriculture, boats and buildings were destroyed by the thane cyclone at the Kadalur and Villupuram districts of Tamilnadu in the end of december 2011. During that time, relief measures had been took place on emergency basis. And Tamilnadu government has been taking necessary steps to rebuilt the districts. Already jayalalitha announced the housing facility to the Thane affected families. Now jayalalitha sanctioned Rs. 1000 crore to build 1 lakh concrete houses. Each house will be build with Rest room, Kitchen and toilet in a lakh of rupees. 90000 concrete houses would be constructed at Kadalur district and remaining 10000 houses would be at Villupuram district.

Date: August 20, 2012 Jayalalitha remembered the statement of Peraringar Anna about librarties. Also jayalalitha governing the state to fulfill the dreams of Anna. From this, jayalalitha ordered to upgrade the libraries in various places of Tamilnadu. Reportely, 96 rural libraries are upgraded into sub division libraries and 96 Third class librarian will be appointed with the salary from Rs.5200 to Rs. 20000 + Rs. 2000 incentives. Also 160 part time libraries are upgraded into rural level libraries and 160 librarians will be appointed with the salary from Rs. 2500 to Rs. 5000 + Rs. 500 incentives. She sought the Prime Minister's attention for the allocation of the entire power to be generated from the first unit of 1000 MW Capacity in the Koodankulam Nuclear Power Plant to Tamilnadu. Date: August 20, 2012 Jayalalitha noticed a worrisome incident of attack and harassment of innocent Tamilnadu fishermen by the srilankan navy on August 18, 2012. Fire dice glass reinforced plastic boats belonging to vellapullam and vanavanmadevi fishing villages in vedaranyam taluk at Nagapattinam district of Tamilnadu ventured into the sea for fishing on August 17 and 18, 2012 with 18 fishermen on board. On August 18, 2012 near vellapullam the fishermen in the above 5 boats were brutally attacked by srilankan navy personnel. Also the naval personnel seized their ice boxes, foods and other fishing implements in the boats and dumped them into the sea. They also cut the nets laid by the fishermen.
