Jayalalitha announced the solatium from Chief Ministers Public Relief Fund to those injured and to the family of the persons died in the fire accident in Fireworks Factory, Virudhunagar District

Date: September 05, 2012 Jayalalitha announced the solatium to those injured and to the family who lost their lives in the fire accident which held at viruthunagar district. In this accident, 31 were died and 78 were injured. Also jayalalitha condoled for this accident and chaired a meeting for this accident to discuss about the safety in future on September 6, 2012. Jayalalitha announced the solatium of Rs. 2 lakh to the family who died in this accident, Rs. 25000 to the persons who faced major injuries and Rs. 10000 to minorly injured. Also jayalalitha sent the ministers to visit the hospitals and ordered to ensure the high standard medical investigation and procedures to those who are all admitted from this incident. Also jayalalitha formed a group to investigate about this incident.

Mr. Govinthasamy's son Mr. Mahalingam from Nagapattinam district, Tharangampadi who walked on the road was died in the road accident by government bus at Kanchipuram district, Sozhiyanallur area, Panaiyur village, Kudumiyan thoppu ECR on August 18, 2012. Varatharajan who worked as Second class constable of Villupuram district, Defence force section, died in the road accident which held at the near of Gopalapuram, puriyalur-theevanur road on August 14, 2012. He travelled by two wheeler and hospitalised. On August 21, 2012, he lost their lives. Mr. A. Jayalalitha grieved the deaths of 4 persons in the fire accident which held at private electrical foundry in Thoothukudi district, ottapidagam, putoor pandiyapuram. Jayalalitha also sent their grievance to the 5 persons who were hospitalised by this accident. "I shocked and grieved", she added. Jayalalitha condoles the died on crane accident at metro rail project in chennai opposite of Pachaiyappa college. Yesterday night, employees were worked on the construction of underground way for Metro project. During this work, crane chain broke and fell down. By this accident, 1 killed on spot and 5 injured. Injured were hospitalised nearby GH. Jayalalitha condoles this dead and announces Rs.1 lakh to family of Sindhu who died in this accident and Rs. 25000 to injured. From this case, two of them were arrested.

Yesterday July 30, 2012, tamilnadu express train came from Delhi. While it reached Nellore in Andhra pradesh, the last compartment of train caught fire. From this accident, totally 32 of them were killed including 5 from tamilnadu. Jayalalitha condoles for this accident and announces Rs.1 lakh to killed and Rs.25,000 to injured. Ex.Chief Minister and Finance Minister O.S.Paneerselvan and Health Minister Dr. vijay meets injured and visits the accident spot. They suggest to shift the tamil patients to chennai. 28 passengers died and 28 injured by the Central Railway minister. 10 heavily injured passengers has been admitted in Nellore hospital. Also he announced Rs.5 lakhs to their family who died in this accident, Rs.1 lakhs to heavily injured and Rs. 25,000 to injured.
