Jayalalitha announces solatium from Chief minister public relief fund through the press release on August 23, 2012
Jayalalitha announced Solatium from Chief Minister public relief fund to the family of the police officials who lost their lives while on duty.
Mr. B. Varatharajan who worked as Second class constable of Villupuram district, Defence force section, died in the road accident which held at the near of Gopalapuram, puriyalur-theevanur road on August 14, 2012. He travelled by two wheeler and hospitalised. On August 21, 2012, he lost their lives.
Mr. A. Muthupandi who worked br Head constable of Madurai district, subramaniyapuram police station, died in bad health on August 22, 2012.
Jayalalitha condoled for the deaths and announced solatium of Rs. 2 lakhs to their families.

Mr. Suresh babu's son Selvan Silambarasan and bus passenger from Kadalur district, salai nagar and Mr. Srinivasan and Lorry cleaner from Nilgris district, kunoor were died in the road accident which held at the villupuram district, kallakurchi area, veeracholapuram village on August 21, 2012. Government bus which departure from salem and lorry were clashed each other in Villupuram district.
9 died on spot and 10 injured at Kanchipuram district, National Highways no.49, near Ragakulam society office on August 23, 2012.
