Honble Chief Minister chaired a review meeting on the new power projects in the state

Chief Minister of Tamilnadu J.Jayalalitha conducted a review meeting on the new power projects envisaged to avoid the power shortage prevailing in the state. In this meeting, Jayalalitha asked the level of completion of the Thermal power plants at vellore(500MW), Mettur(600MW) and North chennai(600MW). Jayalalitha urges the officials to finishes these projects as soon as possible. In this meeting, Finance minister of Tamilnadu O. Paneerselvam, Minister for Electricity Mr. Natham Visvanathan and officials were participated in this meeting. Jayalalitha concluded that this projects will minimise the power shortage in the Tamilnadu.
