Chief Minister jayalalitha will attend the 7th Meeting of the Cauvery River Authority at New Delhi

Date: September 17, 2012 Chief Minister Jayalalitha will be leaving at chennai for New Delhi on September 19, 2012 to attend the 7th meeting of the Cauvery river authority headed by the Honorable Prime Minister at New Delhi. Ms. Jayalalitha will be returning to chennai on the late evening on September 19, 2012.

Jayalalitha applauded the Police, Fire & Rescue Service, Prison service, Home guards and Finger Print Bureau for the commitment and dedication to work on the occasion of Peraringar Anna birthday anniversary on September 15, 2012. This year, 100 police personnel ranging from the level of Additional superintent of police to the rank of constables, 10 Fire and Rescue personnel from the rank of divisional officer to fireman, 10 prison service personnel from the rank of Deputy Jailor to Grade I Warder, 5 Home Guards and 2 Deputy Superintent of Police in the Finger Print Bureau thus totaling 127 have been awarded the "Tamilnadu Chief Minister's Anna Awards" in recognition of their devotion to duty by the chief minister. Date: September 12, 2012 Jayalalitha inaugurated an Environmental Laboratory, handedover Tablet Computers to the District Environmental Engineers, handed over Green Awards to Industries and the new buildings of Health Department through Video Conferencing. Jayalalitha inaugurated the Environment labouratory in Kanchipuram district, Maraimalai nagar through video conference at the Chennai secretariat in the value of Rs. 58 lakhs. Testing Samples of 3000 industries at Kanchipuram district have only been sent to chennai Environment labouratory. Jayalalitha already ordered to build a new envionmet labouratory after analysed the difficulty of sending the testing samples to chennai environment labouratory from the cost of Rs. 58 lakhs.
