Honorable Chief Minister Ms. J. Jayalalitha was given warm welcome at Tiruchirappalli Airport by the District Collector.
Ms. J. Jayalalitha inaugurated various projects and laid foundation stone for the new projects in the Government function held at Srirangam, Tiruchirappalli District.
Jayalalitha spoke about the speciality of Srirangam Ranganathan temple. Jaya inaugurated the various projects for the cost of Rs. 27 crores 18 lakhs 33 thousands, laid foundation for the cost of Rs. 82 crores 63 lakhs 24 thousands, handed over the welfare assistance for the cost of Rs. 50 crores 62 lakhs 15 thousand and 537 to the 34000 beneficiaries and totally jayalalitha inaugurated the schemes for the cost of Rs. 160 crores 39 lakhs 27 thousands and 537.
She pointed that this meeting has the 3rd government meeting at Srirangam and remembered the meetings which were held on June 19, 2011 and February 13, 2011. She thanked the people of srirangam for elected her third time as chief minister.
390 water facilities and road facilities formed from Thai scheme at the 120 villages in the Rs. 2.90 crore. 100 solar street lights to the 7 villages of Anthanallur and Manaparai village panchayats from the Rs. 54.78 lakhs. Roads and bridge works from the Rs. 3.473 crores to the Anthanallur, Manimantapam and Manapparai village panchayats. 11 roads of 13th fiscal subsidy have been repaired from the Rs. 1 crores 90 lakhs and 18 thousands. 5 roads of Anthanallur, Manimantapam and Manaparai village panchayats will be constructed from the nabard special roads scheme in the Rs. 1 crores 82 lakhs and 12 thousands.
