Edappadi Palanisamy Started working: AIADMK govt is AMMAs Govt

The release, issued on the occasion of the completion of one year in power by Chief Minister Edappadi K. Palaniswami’s government, stated that 8,11,481 people benefitted from the schemes that were announced during the events marking the birth centenary of AIADMK founder and former Chief Minister M.G. Ramachandran. A total of 5,208 files were approved by the Chief Minister.
The Tamil Nadu Paper Limited received a prestigious award from the Indian Paper Manufacturers Association. During 2017-18, 73,410 works relating to basic amenities, worth ₹1,024 crore, were undertaken in town panchayats.
TAHDCO has given subsidy to the tune of Rs. 107 crore and extended loans upto Rs. 237 crore to beneficiaries.

The Agriculture Department's kuruvai and samba package aimed at providing relief to drought-hit farmers were among the achievements of the State government.
Crop insurance at Rs. 3020 crore to nine lakh farmers, permission for neera beverage to coconut farmers, special scheme for rain-fed crops, were also government's initiatives for the interest of farmers. A total of 342 fishermen from Sri Lankan prisons and 30 fishermen from Iran were released from respective prisons and rehabilitated in Tamil Nadu.
A sum of Rs. 3 crore subsidy for renovating mosques, providing rice to over 1.83 crore ration cards, planting 69 lakh tree saplings planned on the birth anniversary of Jayalalithaa, free electricity to 2.27 lakh weavers, are also among the schemes mentioned by the State government as its achievements.
Enacting of Real Estate Regulation and Development Act, Business Facilitation Act, 2018 were initiated aiming at boosting the business climate in the State.
