Jayalalitha handed over 170 new108 Emergency Ambulance Services, 76 Mortuary Vans and 348 new vehicles for the use of Primary Health Centres

108 Ambulance service have been introduced and servicing by the state government of Tamilnadu. Now 434 ambulance vehicles are providing services in the 32 districts of Tamilnadu. Jayalalitha handed over 70 ambulance services in to usage of people from the cost of Rs. 17.46 crores.
Patients who lost their lives in the government hospitals would be shifted to their houses by mortuary vans. Totally 62 free mortuary vans are servicing in the state. Now jayalalitha handed over 76 mortuary vans from the cost of Rs. 7.76 crores. Jayalalitha ordered to increase the number of vehicles in the hospitals. From this, jayalalitha handed over 348 new vehicles from the cost of Rs. 19 crores. Jayalalitha conducted a function at the chennai secretariat.
